Eco-classroom gets walls!

We were excited this morning to see a crane on site closely followed by a lorry carrying the timber frame for our new classroom. Once the lorry had reversed up the slope, the frame was lifted off and assembled into position. Suddenly, we can all see what the eco-classroom will look like and what a fantastic resource it is going to be for us all!

Aladdin makes surprise visit!

A touring theatre company rang us in the morning because one of their school bookings had cancelled today. They offered to perform their version of Aladdin to the whole school. So we spent the afternoon in the Parish Hall - being entertained and amused. Not what we had planned for today but a super opportunity which we were pleased to take.

School open - Friday 8th January

School will be open today but only with a small number of staff. There will be no before or after-school clubs and music lessons have been cancelled.

If you decide to journey in, please be very careful - the road between school and the parish car park is particularly slippy.

The school kitchen should be open as normal.

Closure update

A small team of staff and friends worked today to clear paths around the school. We now have limited access around the site and so, depending on overnight developments, may be able to open in the morning. Thanks to all those who came and cleared!

As before, a decision on opening will be made on Friday morning and will be announced via BBC Radio Devon, Heart FM and this blog.
