Tag Rugby team win again!

Our Y6 Tag Rugby team can't stop winning! Their latest victories took place at Taunton School. They were competing in the regional finals and have won a place at the national finals at Rugby School next week. We are so impressed with them all!

KS2 Art

KS2 have been using animal patterns to create these pieces of art. This links to the work they have done about Kenya, India, Brazil and China in Geography and the Science learning they are doing about habitats.

We think the artwork is really impressive!

Wildlife expert visits KS2

We were pleased to welcome Dr John Sale to our KS2 classes this morning. John is an expert in the conservation of tropical species and their habitats:from elephants and rhinos to orangutans. He helped us with our learning about Kenya, China, India and Brazil.

Homework!

Grace decided to use her 3D shape homework as an opportunity to make this spectacular Trojan Horse. It goes very well with Evie's Greek chariot which she made at home as well.

Sculpture

These models were made by KS2 children working with Mrs Ayre. They have been studying sports poses and work hard to design and make their own trophies.

Bikeability

Before the Easter holidays, the whole of Y5 received cycle safety training. There was some great progress and learning, with children who hadn't been able to ride before becoming confident riders. We were really proud of the way Y5 worked with the instructors too.
